Job summary

Sandvik AB is recruiting a CNC Set-Up Operator (Rollomatic) in Reynoldsville, PA for the 3rd shift (8pm–6am, Mon–Thu). The role focuses on setting up, programming adjustments, and operating Rollomatic grinding machines to produce precision round tools.

You will read drawings, load programs, verify tool geometry, perform first‑piece checks, and maintain a clean, safe work area according to 5S principles.

Qualifications

• Math skills with metrics, decimals, and fractions.
• Proficiency using precision measurement tools.
• Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Rollomatic CNC grinders for round tool production.
• Read blueprints and specifications; load programs and offsets; minor edits.
• Perform first-piece inspection and in-process checks with measurement tools.
• Maintain clean 5S‑compliant workspace; monitor machine performance.
