We are currently seeking an experienced Rollomatic CNC Set‑Up Operator to join our team.
The Rollomatic CNC Set‑Up Operator is responsible for setting up, programming adjustments, operating, and maintaining Rollomatic grinding machines to produce precision round tools. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience with carbide tool grinding.
Required: Math skills using metrics, decimals, and fractions; Proficiency using precision measurement tools; Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills; Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred: Experience setting up and operating Rollomatic CNC grinding machines; Strong understanding of round tool geometry (end mills, drills, step tools, etc.); Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T; Proficiency using precision measurement tools; Experience with Fanuc or NUM control interfaces; Background in manufacturing carbide tools; Basic understanding of G‑code; Previous experience in a high‑mix, low‑volume tool grinding environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods; Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally; Manual dexterity for handling small precision parts.
