Job summary

Gerdau in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Rolling Mill Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead electrical maintenance for the Rolling Mill, coordinating with Mechanical Maintenance to optimize uptime and reliability.

The role requires a four-year degree (or 8+ years in lieu of degree), experience with PLCs/drives/motors, SAP/CMMS, and strong people management. Competitive salary with annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Four year college degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field (strong preferred).
2+ years in industrial/manufacturing environment with maintenance/reliability exposure.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting PLCs, drives, and motors.

Responsibilities

Ensure routine maintenance and identify improvement opportunities in the rolling mill.
Oversee standardization of processes, control standards, and job aids.
Ensure standardization of processes within the area of responsibility.
Lead needs assessments, audits, coaching, training, 5S, and safety/PM programs; manage environmental goals.
Develop and oversee the budget for the assigned area.
