Job summary

CRH Texas Materials seeks a Roller Operator to operate roller and heavy equipment, ensuring safe, efficient groundwork on construction sites.

You will follow OSHA/MSHA guidelines, perform pre/post inspections, and assist in mentoring less-experienced workers; must be able to work nights/weekends when required.

High school diploma preferred; 1-2 years experience; CDL may be required; willingness to travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in operating heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction.
• Knowledge of safety precautions on construction sites.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic calculations for time/material records.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Roller and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Report problems to Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or HR Manager.
• Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees on operations and maintenance.
• Maintain attendance and comply with shift requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
