Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in paving or construction operations preferred.
• Ability to operate screed and paving support equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality in surface finishes.

Responsibilities

• Operate screed and paving support equipment to protect grade, mat quality, and surface consistency.
• Ensure smooth transitions, proper drainage, and accurate operation through hand work as needed.
• Support daily paving production with minimal interruptions and steady crew rhythm.
• Control materials to reduce waste and maintain production momentum.
• Deliver surfaces that meet spec on the first pass, reducing punch work.
• Maintain site safety and awareness around paving train, crew, and changing conditions.
• Contribute to keeping output steady and aligning the crew with the schedule.
