TSG - The Sheridan Group in Vermont is hiring an Assistant Print Production Technician (Rolltender) to join our press team. This is a hands-on role with on-the-job training for operating offset presses and ensuring quality output.

You'll set up presses, read job specs, adjust color and registration, monitor production, and perform routine maintenance while working safely on a fast-paced manufacturing floor. We offer full-time schedules, benefits after 30 days, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math including fractions and decimals.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with printing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to read and follow job specifications and adjust equipment as needed.
• Good teamwork and positive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate single- and multi-color offset printing presses.
• Read job instructions and prepare the press for each project.
• Install printing plates, adjust registration, and prepare the press for production.
• Make color and quality adjustments to meet standards.
• Monitor equipment during production and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs to presses.
• Work safely while collaborating with a supportive team.
