Job summary

The Sheridan Group is seeking an Assistant Print Production Technician (Rolltender) on 12-hour day shifts in NH. You will set up and operate offset presses, read job specs, install plates, adjust registration, and ensure color accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with shop equipment.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• Ability to read and follow job specifications and adjust equipment.
• Works well with others.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate single- and multi-color offset printing presses.
• Read job instructions and prepare the press for each project.
• Install printing plates, adjust registration, and prepare the press for production.
• Make color and quality adjustments to ensure standards.
• Monitor equipment during production and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs to keep presses running smoothly.
