Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Pineville, NC is seeking a Press Operator to assist the Pressman with make-ready, setup, operation and maintenance of the printing press, ensuring efficient, safe and accurate production. Responsibilities include loading skids of board, adjusting feeders and delivery systems, cleaning blankets and rollers, and supporting press maintenance to keep a continuous run.

Requirements: high school diploma or GED; about one year of manufacturing experience preferred;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• About one year of professional working experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load skids of board to maintain a continuous run of the press.
• Troubleshoot feeders to ensure proper loading and operation.
• Read and follow job specifications to determine setup materials.
• Adjust press components using hand tools for setup and operation.
• Assist in cleaning blankets and ink rollers and in press maintenance.
• Perform other duties to support production goals.
