Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Feeder Operator to load blank sheets onto printing presses and support the press crew in preparation, maintenance and running of presses.

You will work with inventory tools such as PEAK and SAP, verify job details, and assist with job readiness to ensure on-time production and quality output. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred. English literacy and basic math are required.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load printing presses with stock and ensure inventory control using PEAK and SAP.
• Check accuracy of size, job number, customer name, stock type and caliper.
• Reconcile sheeted materials needed for each job.
• Assist with press make-readies and preparation for next job.
• Keep printing press running by performing duties assigned by the 1st Press Operator.
• Assist with monthly cleaning of press (ERM'S).
