Job summary

Grahamjobs is seeking a Press Assistant for the Greensboro area to support daily production on flexographic presses. You will help load materials, perform changeovers, and assist with maintenance and cleanup on a night shift.

Qualifications

• Assist the Press Operator with daily production on flexographic printing presses.
• Maintain supplies at the machine, including film cores, ink, solvents, and other materials.
• Load raw material onto the press unwind and help with material changeovers.
• Change printing sleeves, anilox sleeves, cylinders, and other press components as directed.
• Perform press wash‑up duties, including turbo wash and cleaning of pans, pumps, rollers, and surrounding work areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Press Operator with daily production on flexographic printing presses.
• Maintain supplies at the machine, including film cores, ink, solvents, and other materials needed for production.
• Load raw material onto the press unwind and help with material changeovers.
• Change printing sleeves, anilox sleeves, cylinders, and other press components as directed.
• Perform press wash‑up duties, including turbo wash and cleaning of pans, pumps, rollers, and surrounding work areas.
• Support quality, productivity, and waste‑reduction goals for each printed job.
• Monitor production for defects and communicate concerns to the Press Operator or supervisor.
• Keep the press area organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.
• Assist with routine maintenance, minor adjustments, and line clearance procedures.
• Move materials, finished product, and waste as needed using proper equipment, including an electric pallet jack when required.
• Follow all safety procedures, GMP guidelines, and company policies.

Schedule: 7pm-7am 2-2-3
