Graphic Packaging International in Pineville, NC is seeking a Printing Press Operator to lead the press crew and drive efficient make-readies and production quality. You will ensure the press runs meet customer specifications and align with GPI objectives.

The ideal candidate has prior press operator experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to read job specs, adjust color and setup materials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• One year of professional working experience, preferred in a manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Setup and adjust press.
• Troubleshoot and correct quality/machine problems.
• Review job bag to ensure proper specifications.
• Direct crews to stay on task.
• Control color to proper delta E.
• Perform PM and minor repairs.
• Work with Printing Manager to suggest improvements.
