Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of press experience preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions and memos clearly.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math, measurements, and data interpretation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Verify roll inventory numbers against job tickets.
• Record roll numbers and weights on log sheets.
• Prep rolls for splicer and stage rolls in appropriate location.
• Move rolls into position and hang rolls in splicer.
• Check oil levels and maintain equipment as needed.
• Check overflow pans and keep work areas clean.
• Hang plates on the press and assist during make-ready.
• Return paper to inventory after each job.
• Complete paperwork at end of each job and shift.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
