Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking a Process Manager for the Roll Shop in New Carlisle, IN, a 24/7 steel manufacturing operation producing various steel coils.

This role leads roll shop activities, drives safety, reliability, and continuous improvement, and partners with maintenance and engineering to optimize roll performance. Ideal candidates bring strong manufacturing leadership, hands-on problem-solving skills, and experience in roll shop or rolling mill environments.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or maintenance environments.
• Effective communication across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, advanced Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced steel production environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coaches roll shop personnel to achieve safety, quality, and production targets.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and procedures; corrects unsafe conditions.
• Oversees roll shop workflows including inspection, grinding, maintenance, changes, and prep for rolling operations.
• Drives continuous improvement and lean initiatives within the roll shop and support functions.
• Coordinates daily activities with operations, maintenance, engineering, and planning to ensure roll availability.
