Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Process Manager Maintenance to lead maintenance activities and drive continuous improvement at the New Carlisle facility in Indiana. The role requires hands-on leadership of self-directed teams, driving safety and environmental compliance, and coordinating cross‑functional maintenance work within budget constraints.

The facility operates 24/7 and produces various steel coils. Ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting skills and experience in a union

Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Demonstrated leadership in manufacturing environments.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
Effective cross‑functional communication across organization levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Serve as performance coach and technical advisor to maintenance teams.
Ensure safety training for the team is completed.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Improve maintenance planning and scheduling processes and standardize improvements.
Coordinate maintenance tasks to align with the team's budget.
Coach team members on safety, environmental management, attendance and work rules.
Track metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
Lead team meetings and communicate on safety, environmental, maintenance, quality, budget or training topics.
Identify development needs and implement training activities.
Improve equipment reliability through cross‑functional coordination.
