Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Roll-Off Driver to safely operate a heavy-duty truck and manage loading and transporting large containers to disposal sites and recycling facilities.

You will navigate driveways and tight spaces, perform pre-trip inspections, report issues, and collaborate with Route Managers to improve route efficiency. A valid CDL, 21+ years old, and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• CDL A or B with air brake endorsement required.
• 21+ years old with valid CDL and clean driving record.
• DOT pre-employment screenings will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle per Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA, and DOT requirements.
• Conducts pre- and post-trip inspections and DVIR documentation.
• Reports unsafe conditions or issues to Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Attends trainings and collaborates with Route Managers to improve route efficiency.
• Notifies Route Manager of incidents, service interruptions, or safety hazards.
• Documents customer tickets and ensures containers are positioned and secured.
