Job summary

Ideal Tridon Group is seeking a Roll Mill Operator on 3rd shift for our Smyrna TN plant. The role involves setting up and operating mills, ensuring product quality, and handling parts with various tools. Expect overtime and a flexible schedule, including weekends.

The 3rd shift runs Sunday-Thursday from 11:00pm to 7:30am with an hourly pay rate of $25.00, plus a $1.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Hi-Lo Certification preferred; will be trained and certified on the hi-lo.
• (2) years of solid experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating a Roll Mill, Punch Press, Accumulator, and Decoiler.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process for all Roll Mill operations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates a Roll Mill in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain quality and dimensional integrity of the product during the production run.
• Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete more complex adjustments when changing profile or materials.
• Uses computer-controlled equipment to select position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines.
• May assist with training other team member in the operation and adjustments required on the Roll MIll.
• May calculate and assist with numeric controlled programming.
• Typically reports to a supervisor/manager

Roll Mill Operator on 3rd shift

We are seeking a Roll Mill Operator on 3rd shift for our Smyrna TN plant.

Position Summary

Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting that may include dust and debris and can be loud at times. Perform various tasks involved in Roll Mill operation including but not limited to setting up and operating machines, handling parts and materials, packing parts and other related activities using hand tools, various type of packing materials. Must follow all applicable safety procedures to avoid injuries including requests for help from co-workers. Proper handling of finished parts and products to avoid injuries or damage, follow all operational instructions when operating or using tools and equipment. Provide quality checks as determined. Job may require overtime and a flexible schedule, reporting early and working late, including weekends.

Schedule And Shift

• 3rd 11:00pm - 7:30am Sunday - Thursday

Hourly Pay Rate $25.00

• 3rd shift includes $1.50 shift differential
