Job summary

SMS group is seeking a Roll Maintenance Technician in Osceola, AR to perform daily roll shop tasks including housekeeping, rolling operations, grinding, and crane rigging. The role requires high school or equivalent and 2–3 years of related experience; crane and forklift certifications are preferred and in-house training is provided.

This full-time position offers competitive pay from $24.00 to $26.00 hourly, plus benefits and a 4 on/4 off shift rotation (6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m.).

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of equipment function experience preferred; no supervisory experience required.
• Crane and forklift certifications preferred; in-house training provided to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping in Area of Responsibility (A.O.R).
• Maintain acceptable attendance and timekeeping documentation.
• Willingness to learn new tasks/jobs and take direction from lead or supervisors.
• Operate forklift and assist with overhead crane rigging and movement.
• Wear required PPE and follow safety procedures.
