Qualifications

  • Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Electrical – Knowledge of PLC’s, VFD’s, and electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
  • Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on complex electrical systems, including PLCs, control circuits, communication systems, I/O devices, VFDs, and motors.
  • Observe and test the operation of machinery to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.
  • Industrial Machinery Assembler Mechanic: repair, install, adjust or maintain industrial production machinery.
  • Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
  • Examine parts for defects such as breakage or excessive wear.
  • Operate newly repaired machinery to verify repairs.
  • Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information from operators to diagnose problems.
  • Record parts or materials used and put in a requisition for new parts or materials.
  • Record repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Read blueprints and schematics.
  • Cut and weld metal to repair or fabricate parts.
  • Enter codes to program computer-controlled machinery.
  • Demonstrate equipment functions to machine operators.

The schedule is 4 on 4 off days currently. When the crew is full, it will be 4 on 4 off rotating from days to nights from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
