Job summary

SMS group USA is seeking a Maintenance/Technician role in Osceola, AR. The position requires performing daily roll shop tasks, housekeeping, and rigging operations, with a rotating 4 on 4 off schedule from 6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m.

The candidate should be prepared to operate forklifts and follow supervisor directions. Education is High School or equivalent, with 2–3 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of related experience preferred; no supervision required.
• Crane and forklift certifications preferred; in-house training to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping in Area Of Responsibility (A.O.R).
• Maintain acceptable attendance.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and jobs.
• Be self-motivated when not given a specific task.
• Operate forklifts.

Summary

A Technician completes the daily tasks that are associated with working in a roll shop such as and not limited to housekeeping, chocking/dechocking rolls, grinding rolls, and overhead crane rigging and movement.

What You Will Need
