Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of data entry experience.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.
• ROI experience in a physician office or HIM is a plus.
• Strong verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Experience using the internet is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review requests to determine records to release per HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer phone calls concerning ROI issues.
• Respond to walk-in customers and log information into ROI On-Line database.
• Process requests from physician offices on a priority basis and fax information.
• Log and scan medical records into ROI On-Line database.
• Comply with site facility policies and regulations.
• Handle and record cash payments for requests at specified sites.
• Demonstrate proficiency using computer applications.
• Work independently and meet production goals established by MRO.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service in ROI operations.
• Demonstrate dependability and attention to detail.
