MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to support client sites for Release of Information requests. You will determine records to be released by reviewing requester information in line with HIPAA guidelines and coordinate data from electronic, off-site, or physical records that match the patient request.

Responsibilities include handling ROI inquiries by phone, assisting walk-ins, logging requests into ROI On-Line, and prioritizing physician-office requests for fax transmission.

Formación

• One or more years of experience entering data into computer systems.
• Strong verbal communication skills; demonstrated success responding to customer inquiries.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.

Responsabilidades

• Review requests to determine records to be released per HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer phone calls concerning ROI issues.
• Respond to walk-in customers requesting medical records and log information into ROI On-Line database.
• Process requests from physician offices on a priority basis and fax information as needed.
• Log and scan medical record requests into ROI On-Line database.
• Handle and record cash payments for requests at specified sites as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency using computer applications and meet production goals.
