Job summary

MRO Corporation seeks a ROI Client Services Specialist to handle inbound inquiries about medical records releases, delivering courteous service and timely status updates. You will navigate multiple EMR systems and apply HIPAA/HITECH rules to ensure compliant, efficient processing.

You will collaborate with supervisors to resolve complex issues, maintain strong hospital relationships, and contribute to team meetings that address trends and training needs while supporting a high-volume workflow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College courses beneficial but not required.
• Experience with ROI/daily processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives inbound phone inquiries from requesters regarding medical records.
• Answers questions regarding status of the request. Ensures that calls are answered promptly and courteously within prescribed standards and metrics.
• Works with Supervisor to elevate complex issues.
• Maintains and ensures positive relationships with hospitals and requesters of ROI.
• Maintains strong knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, state/federal rulings, and statutes.
• Participates in weekly customer service meetings to discuss trends and training opportunities.
• Access and navigate through multiple EMR systems to check status of inquiries.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
