You will manage operations, develop staff, win new work, and ensure safety and quality while expanding client relationships and guiding technical teams.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in CO or UT.
• 10+ years of land surveying experience.
• Experience leading survey teams and managing multiple projects.
• Proven track record of winning and growing work across diversified clients.
• Strong knowledge of boundary law, topographic surveying, and modern surveying tech.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire survey teams across the Rocky Mountain Region.
• Develop, mentor, and coach project managers, professional surveyors, and field staff.
• Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and succession planning.
• Balance workloads and allocate resources across offices for efficiency.
• Serve as trusted advisor to public and private clients across sectors.
• Lead project pursuits, proposals, interviews, and contract negotiations.
• Oversee financial performance including backlog, forecasting, utilization, and profitability.
• Provide technical oversight for boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, utility, transmission, transportation, rail, and construction surveying.
