Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 4+ years design experience; graduate degree with 2+ years is preferred.
In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of design engineering experience is required.
2 years of tooling design experience for manufacturing.
1 year of experience with major CAD tools listed above.

Responsibilities

Design mechanical equipment using CAD to develop tooling for manufacturing.
Develop jigs, fixtures, and semi-automated equipment for solid fuel rocket motors.
Collaborate with production, program management, and safety to define tooling needs.
Investigate design factors: manufacturability, materials, cost, and interchangeability.
Participate in project teams and manage processes with supervision.
Possess ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.
