Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Camden, AR is seeking a Specialist, Test Engineer to perform integration and testing of rocket motors and related energetics. You will support acquisition, instrumentation installation, data reduction, and test planning to meet program objectives.

The role requires working with Design Engineers, coordinating test instrumentation, and ensuring readiness for conditioning chambers and testing days, including shift work. A US security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with 2+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of related experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Set up testing with Design Engineers and follow Test Plans.
• Develop plans for procurement, instrumentation, and SOP/SI generation.
• Coordinate instrumentation of test motors per plan; MIL-STD-810 familiarity a plus.
• Assist with motor moves to Conditioning Chambers and variable shifts.
• Program Conditioning Chamber temperatures per Test Plan; Espec controls a plus.
• Prepare presentations and coordinate RCCA investigations with QA.
• Identify and develop process improvement programs.
• Ability to obtain a US secret Security Clearance.
