L3Harris Technologies in Camden, AR is seeking a forward-deployed Materials Process Engineer / Propellant Chemist. You’ll design and optimize solid rocket propellant processes, work with energetic formulations, and collaborate with Propellant Operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or higher in a related field, 4+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance. On-site work with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualificações

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering and 4 years of related experience.
• Graduate degree with 2+ years of related experience; in lieu of a degree, 8+ years of related experience.
• Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering preferred; knowledge of thermodynamics and polymer chemistry.

Responsabilidades

• Designs, develops and modifies processes for manufacture of solid rocket propellants and energetics formulations.
• Provides practical solutions through chemistry/chemical engineering tools.
• Leads material selection and specification documentation and data analysis.
• Ensures continual improvement through corrective and preventive actions and root-cause investigations.
