Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an Integration & Test Engineer (Falcon) to lead hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of flight vehicles at Vandenberg Space Force Base. You will develop procedures, manage non-conformances, and guide technicians while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure flight readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical and/or fluid systems.
• Experience writing test plans and test procedures.
• Experience working on projects integrating electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
• Experience with hazardous systems and large assembly moves.
• Flight hardware avionics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process Falcon 9 flight vehicles for rapid, reliable reuse and launch.
• Develop and execute checkout and integration procedures for rockets and ground support.
• Lead hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of vehicle assemblies.
• Lead on-site operations, collaborating across teams to resolve test results and ensure flight readiness.
• Mentor field technicians and direct daily activities.
• Design tools and hardware for vehicle assembly and system testing.
• Identify and address high-risk processes; implement improvements.
• Lead root cause investigations to fix reliability and quality issues.
• Refine manufacturing procedures from lessons learned, manage work orders.
