Job summary

SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer (Falcon) to drive the assembly, integration and testing of Falcon 9 flight vehicles. You will work on on-site operations, lead tools development and guide technicians toward flight readiness.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical/fluid knowledge, 1+ years’ hands-on experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with travel and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical and/or fluid systems in design, manufacturing, or implementation phases.
• Advanced degree in mechatronics, mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or computer engineering.

Responsibilities

• Process Falcon 9 flight vehicles for fast and reliable reuse, integration and launch.
• Develop and execute procedures for checkout and integration of rockets and ground support equipment.
• Lead hands-on assembly, integration and testing of vehicle assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve off-nominal test results and ensure flight readiness.
