Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in structural analysis using commercial FEA tools and hand-calcs.
• Experience with structural analysis of pressurized components, secondary hardware, fluid lines/ducts.
• Solid understanding of structural analysis/mechanics and fatigue.
• Knowledge of engineering materials and their applications.
• Ability to communicate analysis results effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed hand calcs and FEA of aerospace structures and pressurized systems.
• Collaborate with team members from various fields for design development activities and trade studies.
• Author structural analysis reports to support release of engineering drawings.
• Support test plan development to verify requirements and generate data for design confidence.
• Create and update analysis tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
