Job summary

Blue Origin Engines in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Engineer – Production Integration RE (Level 1) to join a team responsible for the production, assembly, and qualification of rocket engine components for the BE-7 Lunar Lander Engine.

You will troubleshoot design and manufacturing challenges, implement design for manufacturability improvements, and update CAD models and drawings using Creo Parametric and Windchill PLM, while balancing multiple technical issues in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience with component design, fabrication, build and assembly.
• Experience resolving non-conforming hardware and supporting machining of aerospace components.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and large assembly models with configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Support production and manufacturing of rocket engine components for BE-7.
• Troubleshoot design/manufacturing challenges and implement DFx improvements.
• Update CAD models/drawings using Creo and Windchill with proper configuration control.
