The role requires a BS in engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing, GD&T knowledge, and experience with AS9100.
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
- 5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role (Level 3) or 8+ for Sr level.
- Experience with AS9100 quality systems and GD&T standards.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, implement, optimize and own rocket engine assembly, integration, and test processes.
- Translate engineering intent into manufacturing work instructions for processes like receiving, fabrication, assembly, test, integration.
- Contribute to design for manufacturability/assembly/test for reliable engines.
- Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production to improve timelines.
- Design, procure, install, and qualify manufacturing equipment/fixtures.
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
