Job summary

Agile Space Industries in Durango, CO, is seeking an Assembly Technician II to support rocket engine production. You will assemble and test hardware, work with Manufacturing Engineers, and use software to track builds and data.

You will recommend process improvements and participate in decontamination after hot fire testing. The role requires attention to detail, ability to read schematics, and teamwork in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in aerospace fabrication and assembly processes.
• Demonstrated experience working with complex mechanisms and structures.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in team environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication, assembly, and test of rocket engine hardware.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop suitable for high quality aerospace fabrication.
• Provide ongoing feedback on build and test procedures.
• Document build processes in a computer-based shop floor management system.
• Improve processes and tools to make the job easier.
• Other tasks as assigned.
