Job summary

Silvi Materials is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our Belle Mead, NJ location. You will perform skilled maintenance on rock quarry equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and implement improvements.

The role requires welding experience (MIG, stick, overhead) and the ability to work flexible 12+ hour shifts as workload demands. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth within a multi-location company.

Qualifications

3+ years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role with quarry equipment.
Welding experience required: MIG, stick, overhead.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read maintenance manuals and schematics.
Flexible to work up to 12-hour shifts based on workload.

Responsibilities

Perform skilled maintenance on quarry equipment (rock crusher, conveyors, electrical panels).
Inspect and diagnose equipment faults and restore operation.
Evaluate failures, suggest improvements, and install modifications as directed.
Conduct daily rounds and monitor equipment in operation.
Follow preventative maintenance schedules and document activities.
Assist with maintenance on compressors, generators, motors, pumps, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Maintain clean, safe work area and properly store tools and materials.
Complete tasks within allotted time frames.
