Silvi Materials is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair rock quarry equipment in New Jersey. The role involves diagnosing issues, installing modifications, and performing preventive maintenance on crushers, conveyors, and electrical panels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar with transferable quarry equipment skills.
• Welding experience required (MIG, stick, overhead).
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems; able to read maintenance manuals and diagrams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible shifts up to 12+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance on rock quarry equipment (crusher, conveyors, electrical panels).
• Inspect equipment, diagnose issues, and restore operation.
• Evaluate failures, suggest improvements, and install modifications as directed.
• Conduct daily rounds and observe machinery for abnormal operation.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and document activities.
• Lubricate, service, and clean equipment; keep area safe and organized.
