Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking an Off Highway Haul Truck Driver for Arrowood Quarry in Charlotte, NC. The role involves safely operating haul trucks loaded with rock, performing pre-shift inspections, and minor maintenance.

You will also help with loader operations, support training of co-workers, and adhere to MSHA safety rules. Hours are typically 6AM–6PM, Monday–Friday, with weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Experience with mobile equipment or processing-plant equipment.
• Six months experience as haul truck driver or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate haul trucks loaded with rock in the quarry.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and minor maintenance.
• Operate pit and yard loaders as needed.
• Assist in training co-workers.
• Follow MSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment.
