Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking an Off Highway Haul Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated, and will safely operate haul trucks loaded with rock within the quarry.

The role includes pre-shift inspections, basic maintenance, and assisting in loader operations. Hours are 6:30 am to 3:30 pm with overtime as needed, weekends included. We value teamwork, safety, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance and operation of mobile equipment.
• Six months experience as haul truck driver or related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate a haul truck within company guidelines and safety standards.
• Participate in safety inspections and follow MSHA rules.
• Assist in loader production by breaking down surge piles and maintaining product piles.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections and report needed repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean.
• Operate other equipment such as pit and yard loaders safely.
• Assist in training co-workers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
