Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking an Off Highway Haul Truck Driver for Arrowood Quarry in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves safely operating haul trucks loaded with rock and performing related maintenance tasks in the quarry environment.

The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, dependable, and motivated, with experience in mobile equipment operation and knowledge of MSHA safety rules. Hours are Monday–Friday, 6 AM–6 PM, with weekends as necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in maintenance and operation of mobile equipment and/or equipment used processing plants preferred.
• Six months experience as a haul truck driver or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks loaded with rock within company guidelines and safety standards.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and daily maintenance/repairs as needed.
• Assist with loader production and break down surge piles; operate pit and yard loaders safely.
• Support training of co-workers and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
