Job summary

TerraForm Power is seeking a Manager, Control Center Training & Procedures to lead the ROC’s operating procedures and training programs. You will own governance of fault and outage procedures, change management, and operator qualification, ensuring compliance with NERC standards and ISO/RTO rules.

This role partners with ROC leadership, Engineering, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Trading to deliver standardized desk operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering or related field; 7–10+ years in power/utility operations.
• Experience creating and governing control-center procedures and training.
• Strong knowledge of NERC standards and ISO/RTO processes.

Responsibilities

• Author and standardize ROC operating procedures for wind, solar, and BESS.
• Design a competency-based training program for desk operators.
• Establish a formal Management of Change program with version control.
• Maintain a central document repository with clear taxonomy and access.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Engineering, and Operations on rules and audits.
• Lead training for RCAs and track corrective actions related to human performance.
