Job summary

The ROC Engineer role is based out of the Irving, TX Office inside the Remote Operations Center, reporting to the ROC Manager. The primary responsibility is provide process engineering support for the ROC.

Responsibilities include supporting the 24/7 ROC operations for production planning, reliability, and efficiency; solving complex problems with plant staff, contractors, and customers; and developing advanced Power BI information systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 1–5 years chemical plant engineering experience preferred.
• 1–5 years ASU operations experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong technical and analytical proficiency; ability to multi-task.
• Reading PFD, P&ID and PLC drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; Power BI experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the 24/7 Remote Operations Center for operations support.
• Solve complex problems with manufacturing staff, contractors, suppliers and customers.
• Optimize plant performance by tracking data and implementing best operating plan.
• Train ROC Operators and ASU Technicians on operations and safety.
• Develop advanced BI reports and Power BI dashboards.
• Conduct change management and RCFA analyses.
• Participate in safety, quality, and reliability risk assessments.
• Assist with starting and stopping of plant machinery safely.
