Job summary

Figure is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated testing infrastructure for CI, Hardware in the Loop (HIL) and system-level validation. You will own HIL test systems end-to-end, from design to automation, ensuring rapid, data-driven validation across subsystems and full-robot tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automated test systems across embedded, electrical, and software interfaces.
• Develop Python-based frameworks and CLI tools to execute tests, collect logs, and generate pass/fail reports.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD workflows for automated regression detection.
• Bring up and validate new hardware and firmware builds across releases.
• Collaborate with Systems Integration, Firmware, and Software teams to define test coverage and validation flows.
• Diagnose and debug test failures across hardware and software stacks.
