Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to own simulation and hardware test infrastructure, enabling automated whole-system testing across SITL and HITL towers.

The role focuses on building scalable test frameworks, log capture, and diagnostic tooling to make tests reliable even with hardware variability. You’ll collaborate with firmware, platform, and manufacturing teams to improve test coverage and reliability across product lines.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python for test authoring and automation.
• Experience automating tests against hardware: provisioning, power control, serial consoles.
• Strong CI/CD engineering skills for pipelines with hardware resources.
• Familiar with declarative configuration and reproducible builds (Nix/NixOS).
• Experience with Linux systems: systemd, networking, boot.
• US person status with eligibility for US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow SITL environments with variants and scenarios.
• Develop HITL bench coverage including motion, sensors, and firmware update paths.
• Own CI integration end-to-end: scheduling, artifacts, logs, results, flakes.
