Job summary

Weave seeks a systems generalist to join our lean robotics team in San Francisco. You’ll understand the full stack, step in wherever needed, and help bring robots to life across hardware and software components for fast, reliable deployments.

You’ll have hands-on robotics experience with AMRs/AGVs, patch complex deployments, and turn field learnings into repeatable playbooks that accelerate future deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a systems generalist with hardware experience.
• Hands-on robotics experience with AMRs/AGVs or similar systems.
• Deployment or integration experience at customer sites.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous situations with sound judgement.
• Ability to diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, firmware and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Rapid prototyping: integrate new sensors and hardware quickly.
• Unblock the stack: fix cross-team bottlenecks and trace complex bugs.
• Bring up new robots: power-on, flash, calibrate, stress-test, and hand over working units.
• Deploy robotic systems: install, configure, and validate robots at customer sites.
• Engineer customer-specific integration: align with real workflows and write glue code.
• Turn firsts into playbooks: create runbooks and tooling for faster future deployments.
• Feed the product: capture field learnings as prioritized feedback for teammates.
