Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and building robotic, mechatronic, or automated electromechanical systems.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software and rapid prototyping techniques like 3D printing.
• Solid programming skills in C++, Python, or Go, with experience developing software for embedded platforms.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex hardware-software integration issues.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD tools and fabricate prototypes with 3D printing and machining.
• Select, integrate, and calibrate electromechanical components including motors, actuators, sensors, and cameras.
• Develop embedded control software and interfaces using microcontrollers and platforms like Raspberry Pi or Arduino.
• Write and maintain real-time software applications, primarily in C++, to control robotic hardware.
• Perform system-level troubleshooting, develop testing procedures, and document performance results.
