Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a Senior Electrical & Embedded Systems Designer to lead the design of electrical and embedded systems for robotic platforms. You will own schematic capture, PCB layouts, simulations, and real-time firmware development for high‑performance systems, with a strong focus on reliability and military-grade standards.

The role collaborates with mechanical and software teams; requires 5+ years in electrical/embedded design, a degree, experience with Altium/OrCAD/Eagle,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical and embedded firmware design.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with MCU-based systems, power conversion and motor control.
• Experience with Altium, OrCAD, or Eagle for schematic/PCB.
• C++ for embedded, Python scripting; RTOS and embedded Linux familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed electrical schematics and PCB layouts for embedded/power electronics in autonomous systems.
• Develop real-time embedded software in C++ with Python tooling.
• Perform simulations for SI, thermal, and EMC; lead lab and field testing.
• Integrate electronics with sensors, motors, actuators and structure.
• Ensure manufacturability, reliability, and documentation of designs.
• Optimize power and firmware performance for constrained hardware.
• Collaborate with mechanical/software teams to ensure system-wide integration.
