Job summary

Distalmotion SA is seeking a high-performing Area Sales Manager to drive adoption of the DEXTER robotic surgical system in a defined U.S. territory (North CA and Portland, OR).

You will develop strategic relationships, identify and convert opportunities, and expand utilization across ASCs, hospitals, IDNs and academic centers. The role requires a track record of selling complex capital equipment and working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of successful medical device sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
• Experience selling capital equipment, surgical robotics, OR technologies, or related healthcare solutions.
• Experience navigating complex healthcare sales with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
• Qualify and advance opportunities within ASCs, hospitals, IDNs, academic medical centers, and VA facilities.
• Build relationships with surgeons, administrators, and supply chain leaders.
• Lead full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
• Deliver compelling product presentations showing clinical and economic value of the DEXTER system.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and accurate CRM forecasting.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Marketing, Training and Customer Success teams for successful launches.
