Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an instructor to deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students. You will use provided lesson plans, training, and materials, teaching across various assignments at multiple sites.

You will report to a Program Success Manager and prepare thoroughly for each class. Part-time position requiring an AA degree or higher, with 2+ years teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• AA degree or higher required.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Educational experience or training background is preferred.
• Must commit to full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Consistency - follow a provided schedule and arrive prepared to teach.
• Deliver standard-aligned instruction that fosters critical thinking and joy in learning.
• Communicate professionally with the Program Success Manager and site staff.
• Deliver engaging instruction from Nexplore's programs and adapt as needed.
• Engage families and support children to access and engage in programs.
