Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time instructor to deliver in-person STEM, digital tech, art, life skills and/or fitness instruction to PreK-12 students, with training, lesson plans, and materials provided. You will report to a Program Success Manager and prepare thoroughly for each class.

The role requires a AA degree or higher, 2+ years of teaching or related experience, strong communication, and reliable transportation. Teaching degree is a plus and you must commit to the full schedule.

Qualifications

• AA Degree or higher is required or preferred.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing experience desired.
• Experience working with children.
• Educational/training experience.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus.
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction.
• Review lesson plans and materials prior to instruction and stay on schedule.
• Prepare for instruction and manage all supplied materials.
• Communicate professionally with Program Success Manager and site personnel.
• Engage students and foster a joy of learning across activities.
