Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Solutions Architect to develop end-to-end robotic solutions for logistics and e-commerce applications. This role requires traveling to client facilities to capture requirements and validate technical constraints.

You will lead solution ideation, design, and communication with internal teams and customers, support pre-sales demonstrations, and contribute to proposals, while continually researching new automation technologies for Plus One offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or 5+ years' relevant work experience.
• Experience with systems architecture for automated equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and system-level schematics/diagrams.
• Strong collaboration with sales and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions for Plus One product offerings in logistics.
• Lead ideation, design, and communication across project phases.
• Support pre-sales with proof-of-concept scoping and demonstrations.
• Travel to client sites to capture requirements and validate constraints.
• Architect site-specific fitments and communication of product details to installers.
