Job summary

Symbotic is seeking interns and co-ops to work on real-time software for controlling fleets of mobile robots and to contribute to high-performance robotics software.<\/p>

You will design data structures, implement localization and path-planning algorithms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving Agile environment. This summer program includes mentorship, relocation housing support, and hands-on project exposure.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering or related field.
Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging systems and protocols such as RabbitMQ.
Proficiency with Linux, C++, Python, MATLAB; familiarity with Git, Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

Brainstorm with engineers on cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop real-time high-performance software to control and schedule fleets of mobile robots.
Apply best practices to the design of data structures and algorithms.
Develop path planning, localization, and robot navigation strategies.
Simulate robot behavior and support testing during feature development.
