Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, graduate or PhD degree and returning to academia after internship.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 across coursework.
• June 1 – August 20, 2027 or June 21 – September 10, 2027; align with cohort dates.
• Full-time availability (40 hours/week) and hours as scheduling with hiring manager.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document and maintain software for real-time robotic applications.
• Contribute to software architecture and system-level design for robotic platforms.
• Implement and enhance software across application, embedded, firmware, UI, and algorithmic domains.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, electrical, mechanical, quality, and clinical engineering.
• Apply software quality, cybersecurity, reliability and maintainability best practices.
